Breakers and Morning Commute

During the winter time when I drive to work, it starts out dark outside but turns to this so I get to see a little of the sunrise and it’s so beautiful whether cloudy or clear. The view is my first pic.
The second is of my apartment breakers because my heater went berserk on me two days ago, and thanks to Facebook friends I was able to get it running right by restarting the breakers. Yay!

It’s been a hard week for me so after getting out of my last class, I came home and did more studying but with watching a movie at the same time with my old roommate. The ATI website I do tests on kept crashing so I even gave that up. I needed a break.

Coffee with my Study

After working in my clinical hospital for hours yesterday, I left for a local coffee shop and spent more hours studying for an exam today. I’m so scared about this test but it’s the first one from this instructor so hopefully I can figure out how to study for his class.
This coffee shop is the best because it has a study area that’s quiet, full of booths, and has free wifi.

Not the number four.
Here are some of my fellow students diligently trying to figure out how to insert a metal object into a human being as my instructor put it. First is computer sims, then mannequin arms, then each other.
I used to have a big fear of needles, but it’s starting to just be a big fear of needles in me. Ha!

The Prince

I’ll be updating this the day after the photos. I think it will help me to update better if I get up and post than trying to remember to post before I go to bed when I’m really tired. So here’s the latest!
Yesterday was a bit of a drag apart from a couple of things. One I got to reconnect by text with an old school buddy of mine which was wonderful and I also got to talk with a friend I hadn’t seen in awhile which was refreshing! It was talk to MIA Meg Day!
Even with all that, no pics of anything great happened so of course I reverted back to my fav subject at home, my cat Rafe.

Baby Shower

I’m late! Anyway…
Last year in September I got to do the great honor of doing the marriage ceremony of my friend, and on Saturday I got to go to her baby shower!! It was so much fun getting to see her pregnant (we live far away from each other so I’ve only seen her with a pregnant belly a couple of times) and opening baby gifts. I even won the game of measuring her belly. I can’t wait to see the little boy after he’s born!!

Beauty and the Beast

Oops! I took the picture last night but forgot to post it.
Yesterday my sister-in-law and eldest two nieces went to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D in the big theater.
It was so much fun because BATB is one of my all time favorite Disney movies and it was fun to get to watch it with my young nieces.
The second pic my finger was too close to the flash so it brought glare to the pic but I’m posting it anyway cause my sisinlaw is in it.

Personality

So I’m posting two today! I was going to post the pic of me and my friends in my iMeg but it’s just too good to not post on this main blog.
Here’s the setting. On Thursday I have two classes as well as working three and a half hours at In-N-Out Burger in between the two. This is me coming fresh off the grill and finding out that most of my school buddies had taken the earlier pharmacology class so I would be left by my lonesome in the layer one.
Why do I love this pic so much? Because Lacy is turning smiling in embarrassment because she didn’t want to take a pic of herself while Ian is photo bombing the heck at this photo. It’s such the visual epitome of what our clinical group is. Shy, funny, and cheesy all in one.
The second photo is of the delicious food I made tonight. So simple and so yummy. For those of you who know me in person, I rarely make anything in the food dept., but I’ve been trying harder not to just eat frozen dinners. It’s been good!
